Paul D. Alber, 95, of Hendersonville passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Carolina Village Medical Center. Born in New Waverly, Indiana, he was a son of the late Calvin H. and E. Celeste Alber. He was also preceded in death by his infant brother, Laverne; infant sister, Mary Margaret; brother, Clyde B. Alber and his sister, Faith E. Alber.

Paul was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville and had worked in data processing for Double A Products Company and Eaton Corporation until retirement. He helped set up a data processing system in England during his working years as well.

He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Berdella M. Alber; daughters, Judy A. Brewer and husband, Gene, of Dunlap, Tennessee and Jill C. Green and husband, Jim, of Kingston, Michigan; sister, Ruth E. Mayhill and husband, Jim; 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in March and will be announced when finalized.
