On stone with 1st husband Abel Jolly

MRS. JULIA EVANS
Julia Anna Watson was born in Illinois November 9, 1864 and died at her home on East Second street, Hoisington, Kansas, Friday March 4, at 11 a. m. from apoplexy.
When she was twelve years old the family moved to Lincoln county, Kansas and later to Bushong where she lived for twenty-one years. Her first husband’s name was Jolly and to them was born one daughter who is now Mrs. Albert Reaka of this city. After her husband’s death she was united in marriage to J. D. Evans who with the daughter survives the mother.
Short funeral services were held at Langham’s undertaking parlor Saturday and the body was shipped to the old home at Bushong where services were held Sunday and where internment was made. Mrs. Evans was a woman much loved which was attested by the large and beautiful floral offerings sent by sorrowing friends and relatives. She had made her homm in Hoisington for about one year.
