Obituary
Brice Edward Talley passed away at his Tulsa residence on October 8, 2020. He was born July 10th, 1934, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Evans and Eva (Wooten) Talley. Brice grew up in Tahlequah, Oklahoma until moving to Berryhill where he graduated from High School in 1952. He attended Northeastern State University for a year before joining the army. After his service, he worked for 26 years in sales at an electric company and then went out on his own in the dry-cleaning business. He had a hot shot delivery service on the side, just to make sure he wouldn't run out of things to do. He married Carolyn Mitchell in 1959. Together they shared 61 years of marriage.

Brice enjoyed the outdoors and loved a good road trip. His wife Carolyn said she needed to keep a bag packed, because you never knew when he would come through the door and say, "let's go, we're hittin the road."

Brice loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them every chance he had. He will always be known for his sense of humor and his story telling abilities. His family never tired listening to the stories of his life's many adventures (a/k/a shenanigans). Brice had a deep faith in the Lord that he freely shared with everyone he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Faye Bolding and son-in-law Rick Canady. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Debra Canady, daughter Janet and husband Steve Wright and son Eric; seven grandchildren, Monica Paul, Matt Canady, Craig Canady, Todd Canady, Dillon Talley, Reid Canady and Erykah Talley; nine great-grandchildren; his sister Barbara and husband Harley brown and many other family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be directed to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; or The Little Light House.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 12th, at 10:00 am. at Carbondale Church of Christ, 3114 W 51st St, Tulsa, OK 74107. Tel: (918) 446-9508 .
