Andrew P. Aarons, 23, of Moline, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at home.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Sullivan-Phillips Mortuary, East Moline, with the Rev. Richard Plunk officiating. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born Aug. 22, 1981, in Fort Carson, Colo., son of Paul A Aarons and Kathy Rainsford Spinks. He graduated from Moline High School and attended Black Hawk College, having earned three associate's degrees and was pursuing a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering.
He was employed as an electronic technician in reasearch and development for John Deere and Co.
He was a member of the Jesus Church of the Quad Cities and volunteered at local nursing homes. He loved sports and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his fiancee, Cathy Willhouse, Carbon Cliff; father and stepmother, Paul A. and Carmen Aarons, Colorado Springs; mother and stepfather, Kathleen and Rockie Spinks, Moline; four sisters, Christa and Angela Aarons, Colorado Springs, Melanie Kauffold, Colona, and Melissa Ramsden, Moline; brothers, Joshua Anderson and Japeth Spinks, both of Moline; grandmother, Genevieve Rainsford, Davenport; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
