George E Pentz,67, of 412 Fifth St.,New Cumberland,died Friday at Polyclinic Hospital. He was a member of First Christian Church of Lemoyne, Valley Trolley Veterans Association and Citizens Hose Co. No. 1 of New Cumberland.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel V.Pentz; two sisters,Mrs. Margaret Brinkley and Mrs. Dorothy Breneman,both of New Cumberland; a brother William Pentz,Harrisburg; three step-daughters, Mrs. Gene Cghiavatta and Mrs. Robert Shannon, both of Mechanicsburg, and Mrs. Harris Adams, York Haven; three step-sons Roy Shaffer, New Cumberland,Frank Shaffer, Mechanicsburg, and Raymond R. Shaffer,York Haven'17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home at 324 Hummel Ave.,Lemoyne. The Rev. Paul A. Remich,his pastor,will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
