An Oshkosh resident most of her life, Mrs. Rosa CarL 82, passed away Thursday evening at 8 o'clock at Winnebago. Death was caused by infirmities incident to her advanced age.

Mrs. Carl was born in Eureka, May 6, 1866, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Allen, pioneer Eureka residents. She had lived in Oshkosh since her marriage, Sept. 26, 1888, to Winthrop H. CarL who died 81 years ago. His funeral was held 31 years ago yesterday.

Affiliated with Algoma Boulevard Methodist church, Mrs. Carl was a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Service and a member of the Missionary society.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ward B. Schroeder, with whom Mrs. Carl had resided, Mrs. Alan Davis, both of Oshkosh, and Mrs. E. A. Miller, Omaha, Neb.; sister, Mrs. X. A. Ware, Park Falls, . Wis.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will he held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 from the Spikes and McDonald funeral home, the Rev. Hugh A. Misdail in charge. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening until services.
