Ann Maria LONG is my ggg-grandmother. She was the third of ten children of Johann Heinrich DECK (1782) and Anna Maria PEIFFER(1780). She was of German ancestry.

Around 1827, she married George LONG (1805-1864). They had fourteen children:

1. Lewis "Levi" LONG (1828)
2. William LONG (1830)
3. Jacob LONG (1832)
4. Rebecca LONG (1833)
5. Caroline LONG (1836)
6. John D. LONG (1837)
7. Henry LONG (1839)
8. Mary A. LONG (1840)
9. George LONG (1841)
10. Daniel LONG (1843)
11. Polly LONG (1844)
12. Jonathan LONG (1846)
13. Michael LONG (1848)
14. Elizabeth "Lizzie" LONG (1850)

She is buried all the way at the bottom of the hill beside her husband.
