Allan D. King, Jr., 37, passed away on October 23, 2018, due to injuries received after being struck by an automobile while jogging early that morning. Allan was born in Springfield, MA on August 18, 1981, a son to Allan D. and Laurie A. King. The family lived in Easthampton prior to moving to Northborough when Allan was 10 years old. He attended St. Mary's Elementary School and St. John's High School in Shrewsbury (class of 1999) prior to earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Theory at Keene State College (class of 2003).
Allan moved to Walnut Creek, California in 2015 for his work as a Marketing Operations Manager with the Robert Half International, Inc. He is survived by his parents who reside in Northborough, his brother Patrick King with his wife Rebecca of Whitinsville, and his nephew Lucas King. He also leaves his dog Noelle, who holds a special place in his heart, as well as his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Allan enjoyed spending time with and taking care of his many dogs over the years, most especially Noelle, whom he adopted in December 2015 shortly after moving to California. He is best known for his love of movies but was also a passionate fan of music, books, comic books, and Boston sports. He was also known to win a few rounds of Stump Trivia from time to time.
