Douglas/Northborough – Michelle A. (Griffin) Dansereau, 47, passed away on September 22, 2017 after a long battle with breast cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband of 19 years, Mark Dansereau and loving children, Jason and Renee Dansereau of Douglas; her parents, Daniel and Helen Griffin of Northborough; her sister, Jennifer Driscoll and husband Kevin of Millbury; her in-laws, Robert and Deborah Dansereau of Douglas; close cousins and relatives; her beloved dog Ryda. Michelle was raised in Northborough and lived in Douglas since 1998. She graduated from Holy Name High School, class of 1988. Mrs. Dansereau earned her Bachelor's Degree from Anna Maria College in 1992, and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Psychology from Assumption College in 1994. Michelle spent her 20 plus years career working for the Mass. Department of Children and Families in the Whitinsville office. She loved holidays with family and friends, entertaining at her pool with a warm fire in the background. . Michelle was an aspiring painter, a Star Wars fan, an avid lover of Disney World, and birdwatcher. Michelle lived for her family.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 29th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark's Catholic Church, 356 Boston Rd. Sutton. (Please go directly to church.)
