her liver was placed in a 34-year-old female in Wisconsin;
her right kidney and pancreas were placed in a 56-year-old female in Illinois;
and her left kidney was placed in a 67-year-old female in Missouri.
Shayna Rochelle Hanes was born the youngest child of 3 in Kansas City, Ks, Wyandotte County on September 21, 1992 to mother Susan Grimes-Hanes and father Gary Dale Hanes ( both born in Trenton, MO ). In 1996 she moved with her family to Trenton, MO and then to Columbia, MO in 2001 where she spent most of her life.
Shayna attended S M Rissler Elementary School while in Trenton, Parkade Elementary, Lange Middle, and Oakland Middle schools in Columbia, MO. She graduated from Hickman High School of Columbia in 2011 where she was a percussionist in the marching band.
From 2008 to 2012 Shayna was employed at Walmart in Columbia where she worked her way up to CSM-Customer Service Manager. In 2014 she moved to Fairview Heights (St Clair County), Illinois with family and began studying Computer Information Systems at South Western Illinois College in Belleville, IL. In 2018 she completed a Realtor Association course of Southwestern IL, to pursue her interest as becoming a Real Estate Agent. From 2018 to 2020 she was working as a plumber's apprentice for JDE Plumbers of St Louis, MO. At the time of her death she was employed at Kohls in Fairview Heights, IL where she unloaded trucks and carhopped orders.
Shayna was a very loving daughter, sister, friend, cousin, niece, and most importantly, Auntie aka 2nd mother to her nephew Noah and niece Marlee.
Shayna will forever be greatly mourned and missed!

Shayna Rochelle Hanes, a 28 year old resident of Fairview Heights, IL, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton, MO. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 until 7:00 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Open visitation will begin Wednesday morning. Memorial donations are suggested to go toward funeral expenses and may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
Shayna loved people, music and was a huge Chiefs fan. Shayna was very involved & loved dearly her nephew Noah & niece Marlee , they spent playing video games online and chatting through Facebook Messager. She was planning to move to Las Vegas to be near them.
