Mrs. Mary Ann Nicholas Miller, age 76, of Hanover, Indiana, entered this life on March 8, 1931, in Bremen, Indiana, the daughter of George L. & Esther Haybeck Nicholas, both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised in Bremen and was a graduate of Lakeville High School. Mary was united in marriage on Sept. 1949, to Jack Miller, to this union arrived two daughters and one son to bless their home. She worked for several years for the Madison Courier. She had worked as a secretary to the Hanover College Director of Libraries: Walt Morrill from 1972-1976. She later worked from 1980-1995 with the International Ship Holdings on the Mississippi Queen & the Delta Queen. She had resided back in the Madison Community since February 2004, after residing in the New Orleans area for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in downtown Madison. She had enjoyed traveling the United States & Canada on her Honda motorcycle. She enjoyed horseback riding, visiting the Kentucky Derby, watching her grandchildren, knitting, crocheting, reading & playing Scrabble. She was a member of the Audubon Society. Mary died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 6:10 pm at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.


A LOVING FAMILY
Mrs. Miller will be missed by her daughters: Becky Miller of Brooksburg, Indiana and Susan Miller of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her son: Kenneth Miller & his wife: Amber of Canaan, Indiana; her sister: Ruth Foley of Nashville, Tennessee; her brother: George Nicholas of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her grandchildren: Jenny Wilson & her husband: Frank of Dupont, Indiana; Connie Voris & her husband: Michael of Vevay, Indiana; Cassy Miller of Terre Haute, Indiana; her great grandchildren: Aaron, Andrew, Brady, Nicholas, Adam, Alexandria & Deanna; several nieces, nephews & other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents: George L. & Esther Haybeck Nicholas; her sister: Vietta Roach Wood; her brother: Paul Nicholas.



FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 2:00 pm, by Bro. Logan Fugate at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery near Moorefield, Indiana.



VISITATION
Friends may call Saturday from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Sunday from 1:00 pm until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, Indiana.
