Mr. Thomas Dixon "Dick" Craft, Jr., age 67, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on Thursday, November 16, 1939 in Neon, Kentucky, the son of Thomas Dixon Craft, Sr. & Gladys Harris Craft, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Fleming-Neon High School in Fleming-Neon, Kentucky in 1957 & continued his education at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky, earning his Bachelor's in 1961 & his Master's in 1965. He was united in marriage on Saturday, June 16, 1965 to Dorothy "Dotti" Wolfschlag & to this union arrived two sons to bless their home. Dick was employed as a Guidance Counselor at Fleming-Neon High School, North Vernon High School in North Vernon, Indiana and served at Madison Consolidated High School for 32 years. Dick was passionate about education scholarship work & devoted massive amounts of time & effort to this vital cause. He attained the 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus & served as Tootsie Roll Coordinator for many years. He was a member of the Elks Club & in charge of admissions for & was president of the Madison Regatta in 1976. Dick enjoyed collecting stamps, coins & volunteering his time for scholarship work, events at the Elks Club & the Knights of Columbus. He was a faithful member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Downtown Madison. Thomas died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 8:20 pm at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Dick will be missed by his wife: Dorothy "Dotti" Wolfschlag Craft of Madison, Indiana; his sons: David Craft & his wife Lorie of Madison, Indiana and Stephen Craft & his wife Cindy of Owasso, Oklahoma; his grandson: Xavier Michael Craft of Madison, Indiana; his granddaughter: Alexia Jo-Ann Craft of Madison, Indiana; his aunt: Dorothy Bersch of Madison, Indiana; his brothers-in-law: Bill Preston of Oak Hill, West Virginia and George "Bunky" Wolfschlag of Madison, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Dixon Craft, Sr. and Gladys Harris Craft; his sister: Mary Jo Preston .


THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL
Funeral Mass will be conducted Monday, September 3, 2007 at 10:00 am, by the Rev. John A. Meyer, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 413 East Second Street, Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Madison, Indiana.


VISITATION
Friends may call Sunday, September 2, 2007 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Monday from 8:00 am until 9:20 am at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, Indiana; The Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus, will conduct honors during the visitation.
