Russell was a wonderful husband and father. He was a sweetheart to his family and extend family. He was my uncle by marriage. I remember Uncle Scottie as a caring sweet man. He loved to cook and he cooked great. I remember going over Aunt Pete and Uncle Scottie's house and having wonderful dinners with them, prepared by Uncle Scottie.
He served in the Navy. When Uncle Scottie died with a heart attack, it broke our hearts to lose such a sweet man that we loved so much.
