Arthur T. Fairley, 85, a lifelong resident of Northborough, died February 16, 2014 at Beaumont of Northborough after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He leaves his devoted wife Nancy (Fiske) Munter Fairley. The Fairley’s were married in 2003 at The Wayside Inn in Sudbury. Arthur leaves cousins in Scotland. Mr. Fairley owned the former Northboro Hardware for many years until his retirement in 1991. He graduated from Northboro High School and was a member of Trinity Church. He enjoyed walking and dining out. Arthur served on the Northborough Cemetery Commission and was a member of Acton Historical Society. Mr. Fairley was an avid reader of historical novels. Arthur and his wife Nancy went on their first cruise to Bermuda in 2005. The family extends their thanks to Beaumont of Northborough for their compassionate care of Arthur.
