Sara Cook Watson, 93, of Albany, GA died Monday, October 12, 2020 at Dawson Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Masks and social distancing will be respected.
Mrs. Watson had resided in Lee Co., GA most all of her adult life. She was retired from the Lee County School System and was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Luther Cook and Lillie Wise Cook, her husband, Luther James Watson and siblings, James Cook, Raymond Cook, Harold Cook and Mabel Glausier.
Survivors include her children, Allen Watson, Leesburg, GA, Kenneth (Skeeter) Watson, Sasser, GA, Barbara Watson Wisener (Buster), Sasser, GA and Jerri Watson, Albany, GA, her sister, Hazel Morey, grandchildren, Rodney, Jody, Heather, Jamie, Jill, Ashli, Lynzie, Dustin, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends following the services at graveside.
