Rev. Thaddeus F. Zuber, 95, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck. He was born in Bayonne to the late Adam and Katarzyna (Babiuch) Zuber. He was ordained on June 3, 1950 in St. Patrick's Pro-Cathedral in Newark. His assignments were at St. Ann's (Polish) Church in Jersey City from 1950 - 1959 and later at St. Mark's Church in Rahway from 1959-1995 where he was pastor for 18 years, retiring in June of 1995. After his retirement Rev. Thaddeus resided at St. John Vianney Residence in Rutherford. He was predeceased by his siblings; Edward, John, Frances, Estelle Durrow, Ann Fiolek, Josephine Bronikowski, Mary Wolfe and Sister Mary Albert C.S.F.F. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great- nephews. Also survived by many great-great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 11;00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. There will be visitation in Mt, Carmel Church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
