Loraine was a member of the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Garrettsville.
On March 3, 1953, Loraine and Kenneth were united in marriage in Oakland, MD. Loraine’s husband Kenneth became ill early in their marriage and Loraine provided him with excellent care for nearly 35 years.
Loraine loved cooking for her family. No one ever left the home hungry.
Cherished memories of Loraine will be carried on by her children Raylene (Robert) DeLeon of Morgantown, WV, Kenneth “Butch” (Diane) Christopher, Jr. of Kingwood, WV, Dorene (Victor) Sutton of Champion, Mickey (Helene) Christopher of Garrettsville, and Mark Christopher of Newton Falls, thirteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was the beloved Aunt Poochie to dozens of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Loraine in death are her husband, two sisters, and three brothers.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, October 18, from 2 – 4 PM at the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Garrettsville where services will be held at 4 PM.
Calling hours will also be held on Monday, October 19 from 1 – 3 PM at the Mount Zion Church in Masontown, WV. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.
The family asks that you consider making a monetary donation to the Church Mouse in Newton Falls.
