Kempton, Ind., Dec 11, 1950--(Tribune Area Special)--Mary E. Boyd, 77, died of apoplexy at 9:30 o'clock Sunday night in the St. Joseph hospital, Kokomo, after a two week illness.
She was born in Tipton county, April 11, 1873, daughter of William and Sarah (Reese) Lineback. Her husband, Emerson Boyd, died in March 1950.
Surviving are one son, Vern of South Bend; daughter, Lora, at home; 12 grandchildren, and 3 brothers, Jasper, Omar and Frank Lineback, all of Prairie township.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Liberty Baptist church of which she was a member, with the Rev. Harry Cubel officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty cemetery. The body will be taken from the Ralph McMullan funeral home to the church to lie in state from 1 o'clock to 2.
