Earl Otto Garrison 60, No. 4 White City, died Saturday at Fort Riley, Kansas while working as a plasterer. He was the son of James and Cora (Anstine) Garrison.
He was a Council Bluffs resident 50 years and an overseas veteran of World War I.
Survivors include; his wife, Dora; four sons, Clyde of San Pablo, California, Charley, Donald and Delille, all of Council Bluffs; a stepson, Ed Bowman of Council Bluffs; three daughters, Mrs Elsie Jarrett and the Misses Oralea and Wanda, all of Council Bluffs; stepdaughter, Mrs Dorothy Chrismer of Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs Dollie Butterbaugh and Mrs Barbara Rogers, both of Council Bluffs, and Mrs Grace Schueman of Avoca, Iowa; three brothers, Ora of Avoca, James of Clarinda and Daniel of Tucson.
The body will arrive in Council Bluffs Sunday. Woodring Funeral Home is in charge. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
