He was the oldest child of the deceased Lonnie Rawls, Sr. and Ida Mae Nelson Rawls. He attended schools locally. He passed into eternal rest at Florida Medical Center in Lauder Lakes, FL. He was a rolling stone who lived in many places such as Patterson, NJ, Cincinnati, OH, Trainer, PA. until he settled in Miami, FL in the late 60's. He was an entrepreneur and self employed until he retired in the 1980's. He leaves behind two sisters, Willie Pearl Latimer of Pompano Beach, FL and Sallie Belle Livingston of Media, PA and one brother Joseph Rawls of Fitzgerald, GA. He was preceded in death by his companion Sister Hall. He also leaves to mourn a Godson Lynbury Chaney of Miami, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
