Carl E. Oldham, 62, 83 E. Third St., died at 2:36 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1983 in Dukes Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Brethren, Mich., on Oct. 4, 1921. His parents were Charles Oldham and Ethel Kile Oldham Adams. He married Betty Lou Grimes on Feb. 7, 1942, and she survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Charles Oldham, Jasper, Mo.; and three sisters, Luella Harper, Everett, Wash., Betty Whiteside, Roann, and Mary Cripe, New Waverly. Two brothers are deceased.
Mr. Oldham was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from the casting plant of the Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Sell officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
