Rosalinde left Germany in December of 1952 for a better life in America. She became a United States Citizen in June of 1962. She spent time in Florida and Texas before moving to Indiana in 1962.
Rosie married Everet Parks on March 19, 1966. She was a homemaker and raised four children. She babysat for many children in her home over the years all while keeping an immaculate home. Her greatest love was her family both here and in Germany. She was immensely proud of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was strong and determined and taught her family the importance of hard work. She was selfless and was always thinking of others. She taught herself to read and write English. She read the newspaper every day and was always sending handwritten cards to her family and friends. If she wasn’t cooking a wonderful meal in the kitchen, you would find her working in her beautiful yard. She loved to bowl and was on a league for many years. She loved going to the Goodwill and she wouldn’t miss a good garage sale, auction, or flea market. She remained close to her large family in Germany and made many trips back home to visit. She also loved hosting her German family when they came to visit.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Adams and Evert Parks and her daughter Linda Natalie. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Karl, Hermann, Alfred, Werner, Rudi, Fritz, and Erich. Sisters, Gerda, Christel, and Inge. Survivors sons Klaus (Debbie) Adams, Bob(SuAnn) Parks, daughter Tina (Brad) Shortridge. Son-in-law, Jim Natalie.
