Mrs. Edith Shepherd, 83, died Monday at Siesta Park Manor Nursing Home. She was the daughter of Andrew and Anna Grund Dahlstrom and the widow of Forest Shepherd. She retired as a nurse at the Mahaska County Hospital.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Lois) Shadley, and four sisters, Mrs. Hilton (Lillian) Grady, Mrs. Roy (Blanche) Reinert, Mrs. Faye Moffat and Mrs. David (Helen) Moore.
