Mary Elizabeth Poe-Clark, 98, Goshen, died 8 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2020 at Courtyard Healthcare Center. She was born May 25, 1922 in Marion (Grant Co.), to Roy & Polly Lynch. She married Delbert Poe and he died on Jan. 20, 1981. Then on April 12, 1990, she married Thomas Clark and he died March 24, 2014.
Surviving are a son, Charles A. Poe Sr., Goshen, 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, an infant son, Paul Poe, a daughter, Maxine Walker and great-great-grandson, Travis Schlabach.
Mary worked in a nursing home in Milford. She was a member of Victory Chapel, Elkhart.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., with the funeral service following at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Pastor John Lawson will officiate, and burial will follow at Violett Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the funeral home to help with expenses.
