Clifford Brown
Services for Clifford P. Brown, 83, Protem, were held Wednesday at Protem Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Jim Sallee officiating. Burial was in Protem Cemetery under direction of Kissee-Simmons Mortuary of Forsyth.
Mr. Brown died at 6 a.m. Sunday at his home after apparently suffering a heart attack.
A lifelong resident of Protem, Mr. Brown was a farmer and a member of Protem Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Manford, Greenville, S.C., and Harley, Protem; four daughters, Eugie Williams, Kennewick, Wash., Arkie Blanton, Powersite, Opal Miller, Flippin, Ark., and Lois Long, Lone Tree, Iowa; two brothers, Ray, Tuscon, Ariz., and Merley, Protem; two sisters, Purna Whitaker, Tempe, Ariz., and Lula Jordan, Waterford, Calif.; 34 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
