Gerald A Manley, 13-15 St Paul Ave, Denver CO, formerly of Dunmore, died last Saturday, a week after the death of his wife, the former Nellie Brierly. He had been ill for a short time. Mr Manley, who left this area 30 years ago, is survived by two sons, Frank and Gerald Jr, both of Denver; two sisters, Mrs Michael McGrail and Mrs Joseph Larkin, both of Dunmore; and a brother, Thomas Manley of Dunmore. The funeral was Tuesday with mass in St Philomena’s Church, Denver. Interment, parish cemetery [sic]. ~Scranton (PA) Tribune, Thu 11 Mar 1948
