Funeral services for Mike Allgood, age 56, of Brownwood, will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church with Bill Allen and Rick Cavitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.

Michael Allgood, beloved father, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord on Satutrday, Sept. 22, 2007, in Brownwood. He was born on Sept. 28, 1950, in Brownwood to Leo and Betty Jo Pierson Allgood. He attended Brownwood schools and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1969. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Mike worked for the Texas Highway Department (now Texas Department of Transportation) and for Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Allgood of Panama City, Fla.; a sister, Tammy Griffin of Bandera; a niece, Holly Stevenson of Brownwood; two nephews, Zane and Zeb Griffin of Brownwood; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Tracy Allgood.
