Gary worked in EMS and fire service for 54 years, well known in the Rochester First Responder community in his day. He was a volunteer firefighter for Laurelton Fire Department and Holley Volunteer Fire Department. He was employed by Medical Labs Ambulance, Walters Ambulance, National Ambulance, and Monroe Ambulance. Gary was warm and loving, fun and kind, and well loved by many. He was a Rochester native, 2x great-nephew of the founder of Zweigles Hots and cousin of the founders of of Don's Originals and Don & Bob's. He loved this city, wandering the abandoned subway, watching trains, & working on ambulance on the streets of the city. He loved to drive and enjoyed trips around the state. Gary was an animal lover who loved his fur babies Sandy, Malachi, Maxine, Calico, Kore, and grand-fur-babies Scarlet, Ripto, & Spiro.
