Thomas Harold Evans
VAIDEN - Thomas Harold Evans, 76, retired farmer and owner-operator of Evans Lumber Co. in Kosciusko, died of liver cancer Monday at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko with burial in Hebron Cemetery in Montgomery County.
He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and Exchange Club.
Mr. Evans, the husband of Doloris King Evans, also leaves six sons, Trent Evans of Clinton, Don Evans of Jackson, Bernard Evans and Tom Evans, both of Brandon, Mike Evans of Flora and Craig Evans of Kosciusko; five sisters, Clara Hughes of Drew, Lettie Price of Kilmichael, and Inez Rosamond, Olene McElroy and Louise Hodges, all of Vaiden; four brothers, Wilbum Evans of Flint, Mich., and U.L. Evans, James Evans and Bobby Joe Evans, all of Vaiden, 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
