He married Marylyn Louise Vincent on February 10, 1954 and he died exactly one month before their 54th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, January 10, 2006. Albert and Marylyn raised not only their own children, but also adopted and raised as their own, a grandchild, Melissa Campbell. Albert was also adopted as grandpa by Kari Watkins.
Albert worked for OK Tires for 20 years and also did many other jobs and enjoyed working. He loved to fish and do outdoor activities at their cabin. He loved to make people laugh and had a sick sense of humor that most found amusing, especially his wife. When his medical condition became serious he never complained about the pain, instead he made jokes right up until the end.
He loved to be around family. Albert would take anybody in as family no matter who they were. He never hesitated to help whenever someone was in need and did what he could to make life easier for them. He was loved very much by many people for his huge heart.
He will be missed greatly and will be in our hearts forever. Albert is survived by his wife, Marylyn, his children: Paul Sr., Larry Sr., Albert L., David and Albert Jr., and lots of grandkids, great grandkids and a few great-great grandkids. He is preceded in death by two children, Candi and Robert.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 13 at 2pm at Lifes Doors Center (420 S Orchard, Boise). Services are under the direction of Bell Funeral Home.
