Ms. Edna Grace Abel, 91, of Frederick and formerly of New Jersey and St. Louis, Mo., passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Homewood at Crumland Farms after a brief illness.
Born Feb. 7, 1919, in West New York, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Elliot and Jennie Abel. She was preceded in death by her son, George Yohrling, who died in May 2008. She is survived by her son, Richard Yohrling and wife Patricia; daughters, Margaret Eisenhower and husband Barry and Edna Burch and husband John; daughter-in-law, Elaine Yohrling; grandchildren, Lynn Eisenhower Lawler, David Eisenhower, Meghan Yohrling Lloyd, Adam Yohrling, Elaine Yohrling Stansberry, Stephen Yohrling, George Yohrling, Susan Burch Kasner, Deborah Burch Westerhoff and Nancy Burch Dunham; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. today at the chapel of Homewood at Crumland Farms, 7407 Willow Road, Frederick.
