Tess Cregan Knierim, 71, North Kansas City, died Tuesday, November 7, 2000, at North Kansas City Hospital. Visitation will be 12 noon-1 p.m. Friday, November 10, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
Tess was born April 13, 1929, in Kansas City, KS, and had lived in the Kansas City area all her life. She was employed by A. Reich and Sons, Inc., as office manager and bookkeeper before her retirement in 1979. She was a member of Stephen's United Methodist Church of Kansas City, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Knierim, in 1995. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Elnora and Robert Levy, Kansas City, MO; devoted niece and nephew, Karen and Walt Patterson, Gladstone, MO, and other nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Ralph Knierim Jr., Kansas City, MO, and Merl Knierim, Stockton, CA; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Riley, Clinton, MO.
