After practicing his profession in Murrayville, he moved to Virginia, and then returned to Murrayville, moving about two years ago to Ottawa, IL.
Survived by his wife; and a son, Elmer of Ottawa; and a brother, Dr. J. M. Elder of Franklin.
His remains were brought back by train, and his body was taken to a vault in Diamond Grove Cemetery until arrangements could be made.
Funeral services held at W. W. Gilhams funeral parlor on West State.
Members of Murrayville I.O. O. F. were in charge of services at the cemetery.
