On July 23, 1937 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Dugstad. The couple moved to Detroit for Lloyd's employment during WWII and then settled in Albert Lea in 1946.
Jeanne was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church teaching Sunday school and visiting hospitalized church members and those in nursing homes. When Jeanne's children were growing up, she was a Brownie and Cub Scout Leader and active in PTA. She was a member of the Eastern Star, AWorthy Matron and several bridge clubs. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include her children Kent (Diane) Dugstad of Phoenix, AZ and Judy Laursen of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, Jeff, John, Julie, Sherri and Scott; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; son, Gary; brothers, Bill, Ed and Les; sisters, Pearl, Mary, Rose and Wilma; and great-grandson, Michael Dugstad in infancy.
