David Alan Jacobs was born in Jefferson Co., KY. He was the son of Broadus Eve & Mary Delsie Jacobs. He was a boilermaker and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Elizabeth Lorena Jacobs. He is survived by two brothers, Manford & Kenneth Jacobs Sr.; one sister, Mary Alice (Calvin) Fulkerson; six children: Mary Louise (Eugene) Wiese, Allen David (Dorothy Hodges) Jacobs, Dennis Norman (Regina Thompson) Jacobs, Shirley Ann (Robert) Higbee, Shelton Dean (Ramona Taylor) Jacobs and James Lawrence Jacobs; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a long time companion, Jeannette Newton.
Visitation: Thursday December 18 2014 from 12-8 PM CST; Friday after 9 AM at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home
Services: Friday December 19 2014 at 11 AM CST at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home
