G. M. "Mart" Brisco, aged 77, retired farmer of Marble Falls and life resident of Newton County, died Friday at his home. He was born Nov. 15, 1886 at Erbie, a son of John M. and Mary Blackwood Brisco.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Brisco; three sons, Mirl Brisco of Harrison, Verlin Brisco of Marble Falls, Lavern Brisco of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mae Kilgore of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Berry Brisco of Compton, Marion Brisco of Marble Falls; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Harp of Harrison; 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
The funeral was held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Christeson Funeral Home by Rev. Bernest Cain with burial in White Church Cemetery by Christeson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Herb, Earl, Marion, Arlin and Nolan Brisco and Doyle Harp.
