OBITUARY
Dr. Charles E. Rooney, 66, retired physician, died yesterday after a long illness at his home, 333 30th St., Santa Monica. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Marie S. Rooney; two daughters, Mrs. Mary R. Hinchey and Mrs. Margaret Packard, and three sons, Paul, Francis and Dr. John C. Rooney. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Gates, Kingsley & Gates Mortuary chapel, to be followed by Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Monica’s Church, Santa Monica. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
