In 1961 he established the Guy DeFeo Company in Milford, CT. Guy was a Professional Engineer, specializing in the design and installation of refrigeration equipment. He was a member of VFW Post 10,059. He was a charter member of the Trumbull Rotary and received the Paul Harris Fellow for service above self. He served as a member of the Nichols Library board for many years. Guy was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a Life Member of ASHRAE. As a devout Catholic, he was proud to have helped build, and then renovate the St. Catherine of Siena Church. In his spare time, Guy was a great bowler and an avid golfer.
Above all, Guy cherished his family. He was blessed to have shared hundreds of visits from his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, all usually centered around a good Italian meal. He was predeceased by his daughter Linda DeFeo Tuscano and grandson Jason Tuscano. He is survived by his beloved wife Aida Giliberti DeFeo of Trumbull and six children; Aida Kiernan (Edward), Carmine DeFeo (Mary), Michael DeFeo (Ginny), John DeFeo (Melissa), Guy DeFeo (Karlin), and Raymond DeFeo (Dawn). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd.
