Leigh Major Hogg was born in East Prince County at Saint-Eleanors to Gladys (née Oatway) and Robert Hogg. He had five siblings - Charlotte, Estelle, Loretta, Ora and Russell. Leigh married Hilda Clark in 1946 and was the father of three children - Gary, Janet and Wendell.~Leigh Major Hogg died May 12, 2009 in Summerside at the Summerset Manor. He was 86 years old.
