The son of George and Belle Foster.

Clyde M. Foster, 64, custodian at the Cherokee County Community High School for 12 years, died Saturday night at his home here. Foster suffered a heart attack last April and another Thursday night which led to his death. His funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon in the high school gymnasium. Burial will be in a local cemetery.

Foster was born near Cherokee, April 23, 1892, and was married to Effie [Heistand] Farnsworth of Oswego on February 23, 1923. For 18 years he was an employee of a soda drink bottling company here.

In addition to the widow survivors include two sons, Max L. of Wichita and Clyde P. of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two daughters, Mrs. Nadine Wiggs of Lexington Park, Maryland and Mrs. Mardelle Scott of Richland, Washington; four stepdaughters, Mr. J. C. Robinson of Hallowell, Mrs. Oscar Habermehl of Wichita, Mrs. James D. Hughes Sr. of Galena and Mrs. Edwin Gearheart, Oswego; eight grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Veva Clark, Cherryvale, and Mrs. Alma Baucom, Girard. The Ruhland-Murdock Funeral Home is in charge.
