She was born Aug. 27, 1950, in Sharon to the late William and Leona Snow Grandy. She married David Lee Edney July 10, 1972, and he preceded her in death Feb. 7, 2013.
Bonnie graduated from Hickory High School in 1968 and retired after 37 years with Reznor of Mercer in office personal. She attended the Mercer United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking and shopping. She loved her cat Kramer. Most important was her family including her granddaughter Ava.
Survivors include two sons, Doug (April) Edney of Mercer, and David (Jessi) Edney of Neshannock Twp.; and one sister, Beverly Swogger of Hermitage.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jean Lyon.
Calling hours: The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (10-29-20) at THE SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 3126 Main Street, West Middlesex. Please observe COVID restrictions.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Friday with interment to follow. Rev. Richard Carlson of The United Methodist Church of Mercer will officiate.
