Carla June Webb, 64, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away suddenly in her home on Monday, December 2.
Carla devoted 30 years of her life teaching English/Language Arts to Bohemia Manor High School and Middle School students. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, shopping with her friends, and tending bees with her neighbor. She took pleasure in cultivating her plants and vegetable gardens, but what she loved best was spoiling and caring for her grandchildren. She was rarely seen without a smile on her face or a dog at her feet and a bird on her shoulder; Carla will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Webb, of Port Deposit, MD; son, Matthew J. Felice and wife, Julie, and their two children, Matthew Jr. and Mia, of Ocean View, NJ ; daughter, Kathryn St. Landau and husband, Jed, and their son, Lucius, of Centreville, MD.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2013, 7 PM, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Chesapeake City, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, December 6, 2013, 5 PM until 7 PM, at the church. Interment will be private.
