Alice Fern Tapp

Alice Fern Tapp, of Elmira, Oregon, passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 83. She was born September 9, 1937, in Neosho Falls, Kansas to William and Thelma Acridge.

At the age of 13, the family moved to Veneta, Oregon. Alice graduated from Elmira High School in 1955.

She joined the Army and was in the Women's Army Corps Band.

Alice married H. Verle Tapp in 1958, who passed away in 2003.

Alice is survived by their three daughters Kathy, Karen, and Tammy, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Alice worked for the Fern Ridge School District at Veneta Elementary, Fern Ridge Middle School, and Elmira High School and retired in 1996.

After retiring she enjoyed the time for gardening, bird watching, crafting, and spending time with her family.

A small private graveside service will be held.
