Agee Dock Andrew Carter is the son of Martha F Meeks and John Thomas Carter. Dock was born in Rockingham County in North Carolina back in 1887, as he was growing up he worked on the farm with his father and brothers. In the 1930's he moved to Jefferson County Alabama with his wife Ester Enis Vaughn and their Children. He was employed as a taxi cab driver in Alabama. Late 1930's he and his family Moved and settled in Danville Va with their 13 Children. He died in Danville Va and is now buried in the macedonia church cemetery in 1957.
