Roy Takuma Abe, 61, of Honalo, Kona, died Wednesday at Kona Hospital. He was a plumbing contractor.

A memorial funeral service will be said at 3 p.m. at Central Kona Union Church today in Kealakekua followed by interment of urn at Central Kona Union Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Alice of Kona; a son, Alvin of Oahu and two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Sally) Chun of Oahu and Mrs. Len (Miriam) Hamasaki of Hilo.
He also is survived by three brothers, Robert Takahashi of Hilo, Fred Abe of Volcano and Takeo [sic] Takahashi of Honokaa; a sister, Mrs. Miharu Izumi of Waimea, and three grandchildren.
