James L. (Lubie) Carrico, 85, died last night at 6:30 o'clock at the Mayfield Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Carrico was a retired farmer.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Etta Carrico; three sons, Ignatius and Houston, Mayfield, and John Carrico, Memphis, a brother, Ed W. Carrico, Toledo, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Steve Hayden, Fancy Farm, and Mrs. Thomas Hayden, St. Louis; and three grandchildren.
The body will be removed from Byrn Funeral Home to the family residence, 120 S. 15th Street, this afternoon.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 9 o'clock by Rev. Leo Dienes. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Cash, Siegel Cash, Joseph Cash, Bernard Cash, Charles Lattus, and Robert Englert.
Members of the St. Joseph's Holy Name Society will meet at the family residence tonight at 6:30 o'clock to say the rosary.
