RCAF air force officer
Born in a farm house in Three Hills, Alberta, grew up in Chilliwack and after living overseas spent his last 25 years in Point Roberts, WA.
Ev's passion was flying. Having served in the Canadian Air Force during World War II, he learned to fly and became an instructor. He then joined Canadian Pacific Airlines in its early years where he was a pilot for 30 years, including several terms as the Head to CPs South American base in Lima, Peru. Ev's knowledge of history along with his own amazing stories and experience with his travels made him an unforgettable story-teller. Everett loved the outdoors and sports- tennis, golf, windsurfing, fishing and crabbing off Point Roberts shores in his trusty boat, 'The Happa'. He was an avid gardener and he shared the bounty of his efforts with family, friends, and the Point Roberts food bank. His participation in his local community will be fondly remembered.
