Alice Berry Fletcher, 88, of Inverness, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020, at AHC Lewis County in Hohenwald, Tennessee.

Alice was born January 27, 1932, in Skene, to John Henry Berry and Lodelia Morgan Berry. She married Palmer Fletcher in September of 1948. Mrs. Fletcher worked for 15 years as a seamstress for Jockey International. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Inverness.

Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Palmer Fletcher; daughter, Cindy Fletcher; son-in-law, Mickey Wade; grandson, Josh Wade; and great granddaughter, Kayleigh Jo Pritchett.

She is survived by son, Steve Fletcher and wife Sharon of Hohenwald, Tennessee; two daughters, Judy Rowland and husband Grady of Tyler, Texas and Gail Wade of Benton, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Kim Wade of Benton, Arkansas, Amanda Pritchett, Patrick Fletcher, Angela Sepulvado, Melissa (Jason) Estridge, Marsha (Duane) Lucas all of Tyler, Texas, Brooke (Beau) Clayton of Hohenwald, Tennessee, Rebecca Wallace and John Herrington both of Bastrop, Louisiana; fourteen great grandchildren, Olivia Atkinson, Chelsea Rowland, Kane Pritchett, Caden Pritchett, Evan Fletcher, Paul Fletcher, Jasmine Fletcher, Hunter Metcalf, Tyler Metcalf, Tanner Stein, Ashleigh Stein, Cadge Wallace, Gabe Herrington, and Cheyenne Miller; and two great-great grandchildren, Eli Strickland and Kayleigh Strickland.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 30, 2020, at New Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland with Rev. Lee Kirk officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements. ** In the event of inclement weather, the funeral will be held at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. **
