His full name was Charles Seward Montier Clark but he was always known as Seward. He went missing in Chicago around 1930 and nobody knows what happened to him. His wife went out to Chicago to search for him at some point but was unsuccessful in tracking him down. It has been thought in the Clark family that he got mixed up with the mob and was taken out.
