Pebbles was the faithful kitty of myself and my now ex wifey Denise. When Denise and i broke up i received custody of both Pebbles and Her mate Tairo; who passed away soon after Denise left. Pebbles went through a time of great mourning at the loss of Tairo but her and i weathered good times and bad together. She knew i feared wasps and spiders for instance and during her younger days Swat a wasp clean out of the air as it came at me. She even killed a spider i didn't even see on my computer desk. My now wife, who isn't a fan of cats i might add, even loved and cared about Pebbles. In the end she wouldn't go without speaking to me first and my friend David, who was taking great care of her for me while i was away, flat told me that she's a "fierce wee beastie that honestly is hanging on for some reason," i talked to her one last time by video phone as i couldn't make it to her and she seemed grateful to just hear my voice one last time. She passed away peacefully in the arms of people that loved and cared about her. i'll never forget about her and i hope that whatever heaven awaits good and faithful kitty cats welcomed her. To update, it's been over 3 years as of my writing this sentence and even though i have cats since Pebbles passed away, there have been times even recently where i'll feel a cat walking along my feet while i'm in bed and my cats are over elsewhere asleep; it always makes me smile and i say hello to my old friend.

++Here's To Friends on the other side...waiting and loving to be our guide....faithful friends both young and old...who guide from there from dangers so bold...May Pebbles be greeted by Goddess Bast...The Only one of the Gods who could become a Cat....May she be found true and honored and well....may she have great stories and loving things to tell...May Pebbles be greeted by Tairo her mate...even though it's over a decade and a half late.....may She find peace and may happiness abide....may i see her one day on the other side++
